Hello all,

Ok, today was wow. I seriously enjoyed myself like so much.
I swear that this bunch of friends is the best ever. Haha.
Although I was damn tired, but we had great fun.
Went to play badminton in the morning and ok, I suck at it.
Then the guys went to play basketball after that
While me and JiaQi chatted about a lot of things.
After that conversation, I seriously learnt that
we should appreciate the things we have.
That conversation set me thinking about a lot of things.
About my life, my friends, my family, everything.
She told me about a talk that her teacher gave, I’ll share it here.
The teacher recently went to Thailand and visited the schools there.
Their classrooms are nothing like the ones we have here in Singapore.
They have no fans and everyone has to share a bench.
There was no such thing as air con and personal tables.
They’ve never seen a computer before and some not even a handphone.
Later that day, while that teacher was walking in the market place,
He saw a familiar face and recognized
one of stall sellers as a student from previously.
He was selling drinks, the teacher walked up to him.
He was surprised that this student
had to come here straight after school to work.
He asked why he was there and the reply was that
He needed to work to earn money for his family.
The teacher then asked what his ambition was.
He replied that he wanted to be a doctor.
The teacher asked him why. And guess what his reply was?
So that I can earn a lot of money so that
My sister doesn’t have to continue working as a prostitute.
And here, we’re complaining that the air con’s not cold enough,
Demanding new phones and clothes, spending our money anyhow.
We always think that everything is not good enough,
But have we really thought about
even appreciating that we already have so much?
I realize that there’s a lot to life that I didn’t know about
and didn’t think of appreciating before,
But now, even the fact that I’m able to be using a
computer to blog this is already worth appreciating.
after that we talk about a lot of other stuff as well
and i really begun to appreciate what i have...
this great bunch of friends, my family, all thing things i have...
i'm really thankful i'm so lucky to have all these privileges....

Anyways, then we went to Yishun park after that…
It was the most fun part; we were acting like deprived kids,
Playing the swings and all, but it was serious fun.
Haha and we played there are so long
I didn’t even realize I was about to be late for tuition,
But playing there suddenly made me
feel like an innocent little kid again.
Like everything else in the world had nothing to do with me.
Going out with them make me have fun
And just forget about all the troubles I have.
I really love you guys.
You’re the best bunch of friends I’ve ever made.
And it will be for life.
