A Slice of Life.~ (14 May 08)

1. Take your photo
2. Open fireworks.
3. Change your dimension to 640x480.
4. Put your picture in.
5. Use the lasso tool to trace out whatever your button would be.
6. Ctrl+C to copy the selected area.
7. Go to the sidebar, layers.
8. Make sure you’re in the tab layers, not pages.
9. Then create a new layer.
10. It’s the button beside the little dustbin at the bottom.
11. Ctrl+V to paste
12. Keep repeating these for all your buttons
13. I think its min. 3 buttons.
14. But crop out more than 3.
15. There might be an effort later, will explain later.
16. Now save your work as a firework (PNG) file.
17. Open flash actionscript 2.0
18. Change dimensions to 640x480
19. Go to file > import > import to library
20. Import the PNG file
21. Go to the sidebar.
22. Open your library tab.
23. There, you’ll see your PNG file
24. Double click firework objects
25. Drag your background picture onto the stage
26. That’ll be your first layer.
27. Resize it to fit your stage if it’s the wrong size.
28. Create a new layer at your timeline.
29. The first button at the timeline
30. Make sure you’re in scene 1
31. Drag the picture of the first button from the library
32. Drop it into the stage
33. Resize it if needed
34. Use the black arrow and select the picture.
35. A dotted line would form around it.
36. Right-click > convert to symbol
37. Select button
38. Rename it
39. You’ll see a blue outline.
40. Double click the picture.
41. You’ll go into the button stage (up,over,down,hit)
42. Right click > insert keyframe in all the 4 states
43. Leave up alone.
44. Go to the over state
45. Right click the picture in the over state
46. Convert to symbol > Movieclip
47. Rename it
48. Double click the picture, now with blue outline.
49. You’ll go into the movie clip mode
50. If you want the picture to shake up and down,
51. Move your arrow key 3 steps up
52. Go to the second frame,
53. Insert keyframe,
54. Move your arrow key 3 steps down
55. If you want the picture to shake left and right,
56. Move your arrow key 3 steps left
57. Go to the second frame,
58. Insert keyframe,
59. Move your arrow key 3 steps right
60. If you want the picture to enlarge when rollover,
61. Leave the first frame alone
62. Go to the second frame,
63. Insert keyframe,
64. Use the free transform tool to resize the picture bigger
65. Make sure this is in the second frame
66. Then go back to the button state
67. Go to the down state
68. Go to file > import > import to library
69. Computer > system C > windows > media > windows shut down
70. Then drag the file from your library into the stage
71. It does not matter where
72. Then use the text box tool
73. Type whatever message you want
74. And then repeat step 28 – 73 for all your buttons
75. Make sure you save your work from time to time.
76. Ctrl+S to save
77. Ctrl+Enter to preview whatever you’ve done.
78. Now everything is done!

OMG, the earthquake in China and the Cylcone are killing sooo many people, its just unbelievable, I want to help or donate in some form but it seems like i'm so broke now, i cant even help... so many dead bodies are found everyday and so many more people are still MISSING. noone knows if they're alive or dead. In China, the whole school just collasped causing so many deaths. I feel that we're so lucky to be living in Singapore, and yet, many people don't appreciate that. I feel that i should share a powerpoint that Agnes shared with me. Its about not wasting food and water. I mean how can anyone bring themself to throw away their food when there are people in other parts of the world dying just because they are not as priviledged as us to be able to afford them. them don't even have water, what more food. They don't have a choice like us, if you don't like to eat vegetables and always throws them away, have you ever thought of the people who have to survive on grass and cow dung and pee for food and water? even before they can reach places where they're giving away food, they die halfway as they have no more energy left to even crawl there. so STOP WASTING FOOD. another reason why you should not waste food wuld be that, have you ever thought of who's money are you using to pay for all that and when you can't finish it and throw them away, who's money are you throwing away? ITS NOT YOURS. its your PARENT'S hard earned money. WTH. some people say their parent's money is their, but who's the one working so hard? not them. its their parents. Unless of course, you have your own job and you're supporting yourself and paying for all those yourself, but even so, i believe we should not waste the money. why waste food. i feel that we should only take what we want to eat and not anything more, if you decide to take it/ buy it, YOU FINISH IT. its like a responsibility. If youhave so much money, you might as well donate them and help thos who are dying and need the money and food much more than you do. Well i feel that to be able to be typing this an whoever who's reading this are all very lucky. Thats cause to be able to be doing that, we all have a computer and are not living a life were we are dyng because of the lack of food, so i want to tell everyone not to waste food and start helping the less fortunate. :) Bring a smie to their faces.
