Had such a RELAXING day in school today. we had this fire drill thingy which to the school's surprise , we completed in only 4 MINTUES. when they actually planned ONE HOUR for it. haix. wadever. it proves that we would be very save when there's an emergency anyway. and after that we had this performance which is sortof like an English opera thingy ( is it how you spell it , argh nevermind. ) they were doing those somersaults as if they were nothing man! we then had a motivational talk by an ex-crescentian , Ms Jacyln Chan ( http://www.purposedpassion.com/ ) i thought it would be very boring at first, as to me , Mindchamp's talks and seminars were the best but after hearing for a while i felt that she was quite not too bad. in fact did very well as a public speaker. she gave us her website and we could sign up for a newsletter and also visit her friend's blog ( http://www.nuffnang.com/) . she talked about the goals , aims , passions, we have in our life and how important they are. i feel very strongly for this issue as well.

After going through the Mindchamps program. I begun to ask myself what in the whole world is my goal and dream and what do i want to do when i grow up. i pondered on this for a really long time and in the end i came to a conclusion about what i wanted . i wanted to earn a lot of money but its to help the poorer and needy in the other parts of the world. i want to travel round the world to the different parts and help the other people there. But first i knew i had to have enough money to be able to even want to do so. So after going for Empower U i have started saving up and finding ways to earn more money to achieve my goal . Although i cannot do much now-as in earn big amount of money, i can at the very least start by saving up and earning bit from her and there. the best thing would be that Empower U has equipped me with the knowledge on how the earn more money - by investing - but this is only one part of it, we actually learned more secrets during Empower U, so come join Mindchamps!

ok i know you people are really tired of me keep talking abt mindchamps but sorry i have no choice i really feel that everyone should go and join mindchamps it is really a rare opportunity to really think through about your life, your past, present , future. basically its a really fabulous program! ok back to my goal. i have since started planning my time my life and had a GOAL book where i add in all my goals even very minor ones and the very major ones too. i also plan my money and manage everything much better now. i start doing mindmaps for lessons and in fact -to my suprise- find it extremely easy and fun! Well, thats why you all should join Mindchamps xD . i am really grateful that i am able to attend the course as i know not as many people have that opportunity. if there is anybody who wants to know more abt Mindchamps or what we do there feel free to leave your questions on my tagboard or just ask me in person :) .

Back to the talk just now. the talk was really good . it really made me think even though i already thought about what i wanted. i actually also wanted to become a speaker and motivate more people to go for mindchamps or even have the knowledge that i gained from going to mindchamps. actually one of my goals i recently added for this month is to promote mindchamps to more people. as i myself had experienced it for myself i feel that more people should share that same feeling and knowledge that i gained. because it has really changed me a lot. furthermore with the talk , i feel that since Ms Jacyln had gone through sth lyk that lyk realising all this and knowing wad she wants in her life and feel that she should impart the knowledge to more people the same way i feel.

i wanted to talk abt confident communicator right?!? yes. ok. it is as you know anothe one of the mindchamps 2 ,1/2 days seminar. it is as its name suggests , how to be able to communicate effectively and confidently. i have learned a lot from that seminar and since that seminer i have opened up very much and stepped out of my " comfort zone " . i used-to-be a quite quiet person and didnt lyk speaking up cos i was probabaely afraid of embarassment. And that is my comfort zone. i stepped out of it and reach a stage of fear and i overcome-ed it and had growth and finally success. i should not say it is all entirely my effort . i feel that just lyk what Ms Jacyln said during the talk. its sometimes about the people around you that affects you. i was very lucky that during my C.C there were very outspoken people and they in fact helped in raising the energy level and encouraging the others to open up. i hope that the next time there is a camp or sth, i would be the one who is in their positions. i feel that we should encourage and help others more often. sometimes this world is so hectic, people get so busy that they would only have time for themselves and most of the time forget about the rest of the people.
